(BUT IT STILL ROCKS!)

The interior magazine ‘Rum’ offers a sneak-peak into our office, our world. The office on Skoubogade, Copenhagen, is often inhabited by quirky characters and curious items – not to mention the very diverse sound setting. Situated right on Copenhagen’s central pedestrian street, we listen to everything from marching bands and Hare Krishna – to eleven-year-old castrates singing Italian opera – that’s the sound of inner Copenhagen city life. Hey, and not to mention Rune RK’s studio, that regularly throws in a beat or two of the next club hit in the making.
It might seem that it really is a disco all the time, but that’s not the case. It’s in fact a serious business that’s currently skyrocketing, planning an office launch in China later this summer. We’ll keep you posted!
The couch in the picture is our famed ‘Mormor’ couch, the low flintstone table in front of it was originally developed for the Paris-Texas high-end fashion store. The white table to the right is called Coupé and is produced by Moroso.
It looks and appears like a heavy sofa – one you would never be able to move around once the furniture remover had put in in place – thus 500 KG.
However all together the sofa weighs app. 20 KG and can be moved and costumized in any way you desire.
The sofa is produced by Italian manufacturer SPHaus – and sold in a variety of stores and design galleries around Europe and Middle East.
Tante is part of the Mormor family series…. We love the asymmetric chesterfield seat… Besides the leather seat, the chair is made in bamboo. The Chair is currently being worked on with a large European Furniture manufacturer….
When Supergeil was designed, Johannes Torpe created this sofa called Coupé for the space.
Like with many of the products and furniture evolving from the Torpe universe, Coupé has a build in story that reaches beyond the Supergeil universe…
As part of a pitch we participated in in fall 2008, Johannes Torpe created this Kindergarden Table….
Faster is part of the “Mormor” series of furniture…
The pink color seems to be quite iconic for our design studio…..
As a spin off of the ParisTexas store design, Johannes Torpe created the Rock Table…
We have it in our studio – and yes! It has sharp edges….. very nice!
