From Deco Magazine sep. 2008 – NO. 79

Subu Restaurant in Beijing was what really opened our eyes to the Asian part of the world. It allowed us to see how fantastic projects we could actually do there – while working with really nice and professional people.

We are now very focused on the Asian // Chinese markets – and we spend a lot of time out there. Actually Johannes has been there four times already in 2009. It cannot be long before we open a Shanghai based office – anyway it could be really great.

Subu has been a great ride for us – and it still is.

We’ve been featured in more than 100 articles, frontpages etc. over the last year’s time!

Like all aspects of the SUBU project this chair was designed in the context of SUBU – but with a story to tell elsewhere. There fore we are working with a European furniture producer at this point in the further development of the SUBU Chair.
